In a clash of dynasties at the Crypto Com Arena, the Chicago Bulls outclassed the indisposed LA Lakers 146:115.
Only three basketball players on the home team tried to match the enthusiastic guests - Luka Dončić, Austin Reeves, and LeBron James, who was returning from injury and couldn't really push much.
On the other side, the players were in high spirits - Kobe White had 36 points, Matas Buzelis had 31, Josh Giddy had a triple-double of 12 points, 10 rebounds and 17 assists. Kevin Herter and Patrick Williams each had 14 points, with one less from Dylan Terry, while Nikola Vučević had a double-double of 12 points and the same number of steals.
Vučević had 50 percent shooting, but hit 4-3 three-pointers and had three offensive rebounds.
But only Gidi had a higher utility index than the Montenegrin center (22), while Vučević added five more assists, two steals and a block to his double-double for an index of +19.
For the Lakers, Dončić stood out with 34 points, Reeves collected 25, and LeBron had 17. Only Jackson Hayes scored in double figures with 10.
The Milwaukee Bucks made a big comeback in Sacramento and outplayed the Kings 114:108.
Sacramento controlled the entire match and had a double-digit lead for most of it, but... The Bucks slowly approached, Gary Trent Jr. tied the score at 97:97, and then Kevin Porter gave his team its first lead since the opening 2:0.
Giannis Antetokounmpo was by far the best individual with 32 points and 17 rebounds, Brook Lopez added 21 points, and Porter Junior had 18.
DeRozan led Sacramento with 22 points, Keon Ellis scored 20, and Jonas Valanciunas added 18.
Golden State was powerless without Steph Curry to stop Atlanta, and Trae Young scored 25 points and had 10 assists.
