"Građevinci" defeated "Economists" after overtime

The basketball players of the Faculty of Civil Engineering achieved their third victory in the Meridianbet Student League of Montenegro.

In the derby of the third round of Group A, the "Construction Team", led by the in-form Luka Rakočević (20), inflicted a second defeat on the Faculty of Economics (45:42) after overtime, with Novo Rašović (19) and Lasica (13) scoring in double figures.

The students of the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education from Nikšić continued their 75% performance, convincingly defeating the Mediterranean University (48:20), a team that has yet to taste the sweetness of victory. As many as four players on the winning team scored double-digit points - Kovačević (14), Perović (12), Parović (11) and Zonjić (18), while Filip Čarapić (12) and Nikolić (XNUMX) stood out on the losing team.

The match between the Faculty of Science and Mathematics and the Faculty of Metallurgy and Technology (20:0) ended in a draw, as the "metallurgists" did not show up at the scheduled time.

The most interesting match of the third round in group B was played between the University of Donja Gorica and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering. After a great and uncertain fight, UDG recorded its third triumph (47:45), and ETF its second defeat. The winning team's most efficient players were Lađić (19), Dušan Vučelić (11) and Živanović (11), while the only ETF player with double figures was Bakoč (19).

The second consecutive victory was achieved by the basketball players of the Faculty of Law, who convincingly defeated the Faculty of Biotechnology (56:35). Delić (12), Mitrović (11) and Nikola Rondović (10) led the "lawyers" to victory, while the most efficient players in the Faculty of Biotechnology team were Rakčević (12) and Dragašević (11).

After their first defeat in the previous round, the basketball players of Studentski dom NK defeated the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (38:29), which was their third defeat in as many games. The most responsible for the second victory of the "home team" was Ćetković (15), while for the "machine team" Jeknić and Pavle Prelević scored in double figures, with 10 points each.
