Petar Mijović's men reached plus 17 in the second quarter, leading until the end, and when the guests threatened in the last quarter at 81:76, Igor Drobnjak put an end to the match in the M:tel "Morača" hall with four three-pointers...
It was SC Derby's second consecutive win, for a score of 9-15. Teams in the playoff zone have three more victories.
The Montenegrin representative achieved the advantage (41:24) that practically controlled this match after a three-pointer by David Mirković.
SC Derbi played well after that, but Antonio Sikirić "revived" the Split team in the first half of the fourth quarter. However, if there was any fear of a turnaround then, Drobnjak "sent it away" with four of his five three-pointers.
The "students" point guard was accurate five times from outside the 6,75 line, Luka Bogavac and Erik Nil each made four three-pointers, and Mirković, Zoran Vučeljić and Andrija Grbović each made two.
With 20 points each, Bogavac and Nil were the most efficient (he also had seven assists), Drobnjak scored 18, and Vučeljić 14... On the other side, Adam Smith scored 16 points.
