Budućnost Bemaksa's basketball team will travel to Celje tonight, where they will hold the WABA League final tournament over the weekend (March 29th and 30th). In addition to the hosts, who have won the title in Podgorica for the last three seasons, the Podgorica team was also secured a place in the final by the two best Bulgarian teams - Beroe and Montana.
According to the table, Celje and Beroe will play in the semifinals, as well as Budućnost Bemaks and Montana.
The Podgorica club's expedition will travel to Celje late tonight, where they will train tomorrow, and then play against Montana on Saturday (15.30:XNUMX p.m.), who won the Bulgarian Cup just a few days ago.
"Vučice" will try to reach the final again, although Buducnost has rejuvenated the team this season.
"We have reached the very end, now comes the most interesting part, the final four. If we know that the three teams have three foreign players each, a lot of experienced players and national team players, and that this is the season after many years where the league part was played according to the system of a single league, and not a group stage, then it is clear that one of the strongest final tournaments in the last few years is coming. Four very high-quality teams and a spectacle is expected for good reason," said Petar Stojanović, coach of the Podgorica team.
The young expert is not thinking about what might happen on the second day of the final tournament, but all his thoughts are focused only on Montana.
2"an extraordinary team, which has shown a lot during the season. Very experienced, well covered in all positions, so we expect a good match. But, I think we prepared well, I believe in my players and I am sure that we will show ourselves in the right light", emphasized Stojanović.
The match between Budućnost Bemaks and Montana will be played on Saturday at 15.30:18 PM, while Celje and Beroe will play at 14.30 PM. The match for third place will be played on Sunday at 17:XNUMX PM, while the final is scheduled for XNUMX PM.
