SC Derby basketball players have tied three victories in the AdmiralBet ABA League for the first time this season, defeating Mornar, Split and Igokea in order, so they could hardly have chosen a better moment for the Podgorica derby.
"Students" welcome Budućnost Voli (26:18 PM) in the XNUMXth round of the ABA League, which is fighting for first place before the playoffs.
"The position in the table clearly shows the quality of both the individual and the team. Buducnost is a team that is very talented in attack, it has players with points in their hands from all positions. Defensively we have to be at a high level, while in attack we primarily need to adapt to the aggressiveness of our rivals on the outside line. It is necessary to reduce the turnovers to a minimum," said SC Derbija coach Petar Mijović.
Buducnost won in two head-to-head matches this season - in the ABA League and the Montenegrin Cup.
"It is clear that Buducnost is the clear favorite, but we will do everything to make the game interesting," Mijovic emphasized.
Luka Bogavac is in great form and, along with Erik Nil, is Buducnost's biggest threat.
"Both we and Buducnost know more or less what to expect. Year after year, our duels bring great matches, and our goal is to correct the mistakes that we made in previous duels," said Bogavac.
