The international basketball club competition Euroleague has punished Partizan and Red Star Belgrade for inappropriate behavior by their fans.
Partizan and Red Star fans "threw objects onto the field and chanted offensively" at previous matches between Belgrade clubs in the Euroleague.
Partizan was fined 25 euros for this behavior of its fans in the last round of the regular season match against Real Madrid, while Red Star was fined 14 euros for the behavior of its supporters in Munich in the first play-off match against Bayern.
Red Star general manager Nemanja Vasiljević was fined eight thousand euros for "disrespecting the referees" in the match against Bayern.
Both Belgrade clubs finished their Euroleague competition.
Partizan did not make the playoffs after finishing the regular season in 12th place, while Red Star was eliminated in the play-offs after losing to Bayern.
