Information appeared in the media today that two official cars of the Basketball Association of Montenegro (KSCG) were sold below cost - one to Dušan Dubljević, brother of KSCG president Jelena Dubljević, and the other to the general secretary, Darko Ivanović.
The allegations state that Dubljević received the "Škoda Superb" for 8.400 euros, and Ivanović the "Škoda Octavia" for 3.705 euros. PV portal wrote today that everything was done without the decision and knowledge of the Board of Directors, without an assessment of the value of the cars by professional appraisers, without data on the condition of the vehicles, the mileage, and that the only bids were submitted by Dubljević and Ivanović.
After that, KSCG also responded to RTCG. The umbrella basketball organization announced that everything was done in accordance with the Statute and decisions of the Board of Directors. They also pointed out that in March of this year, an appraisal of both vehicles was done by a licensed appraiser, and that the documentation regarding the sale is in the KSCG archives.
They state that at the meeting held on June 2024, XNUMX, it was agreed that three existing vehicles owned by KSCG, namely: "Caddy Pick up", "Škoda Oktavia" and "Škoda Superb", would remain in official use until further notice, with the possibility of potential sale of these vehicles in the future.
"The subject of sale through the competition for permanent employees of KSCG, which was announced on 02. 04. 2025, were two vehicles, as follows: For the first time, the issue of the sale of these vehicles was on the agenda of the session of the KSCG Board of Directors held on 03. 06. 2024. At the aforementioned session, the Board of Directors was informed that KSCG was in the process of signing the Contract on the procurement of two new "Chery" brand vehicles for the official needs of KSCG. It was agreed that three existing vehicles owned by KSCG, namely: "Caddy Pick up", "Škoda Oktavia" and "Škoda Superb", would remain in official use until further notice, with the possibility of potential sale of these vehicles in the future - Minutes of the session of the Board of Directors from 03.06.2024. XNUMX. This item was adopted unanimously," the statement submitted to RTCG states.
It is said that at the last meeting of the Board of Directors, it was decided that KSCG should sell two "Chery" vehicles that it received for a period of three years in order to rationalize operating costs.
"At the last meeting of the Board of Directors of KSCG, which was held on March 17, 03, under item Miscellaneous No. 2025, members of the Board of Directors of KSCG were informed that KSCG, in cooperation with the company Jadran Auto doo, through a sponsorship agreement, received two Chery vehicles for a period of three years and that it would be necessary to rationalize business costs by selling these vehicles for which there is no longer a need, through a competition for permanent employees of KSCG. The Board of Directors wishes to reduce the operating costs of KSCG with this decision. It was insisted that the vehicle valuation be done by an authorized appraiser. - Minutes from the meeting of the Board of Directors of KSCG dated March 4, 17. "In accordance with the above, it is obvious that the allegations published in the media are untrue, that the sale of these vehicles was carried out without a decision by the Board of Directors of KSCG. Furthermore, everything was done in accordance with the decisions of this body and in accordance with the Statute of KSCG," it added.

The facts speak completely differently. The appraisal of both vehicles was done by a licensed appraiser and the complete documentation regarding the appraisal of both cars, as well as other documentation with all the details about the vehicles, is in the archives of the State Automobile and Transport Corporation of Montenegro. The appraisal of the vehicles was done in March 2025. - Appraisal reports on both vehicles," the statement says.
