Utah extends coach's contract until 2030.

Utah basketball players are not changing their coach - the Salt Lake City franchise announced that it has extended Will Hardy's contract until 2030.

Hardy will enter his fourth season on the Jazz bench in the fall.

"Will's leadership has been invaluable to our program," Utah general manager Danny Ainge said.

"He has set a clear vision for our players, built strong core values, competitive habits and a mentality of constant improvement. He is one of the most promising young coaches in the league and we are extremely fortunate to have him," Ainge added.

In his first three seasons on the Utah bench, he achieved a record of 85 wins and 161 losses.

Utah finished the season with the youngest team in the league, and in recent weeks they have not had a single player older than 27 on the field.

"I believe in what we are building. We have a talented group of coaches and people working together to build a championship program," Hardy pointed out.
