Denver ended their season with a defeat to Oklahoma (125:93) in the decisive, seventh game of the NBA Western Conference playoff semifinals.
Denver was only on a par in the first quarter, the rest of the match went to Oklahoma, who advanced to the Western Conference finals for the first time since 2016.
Nikola Jokić didn't have the right support, he finished the season, and after the match he even talked about the upcoming European Championship.
"I think the Olympics made me even better. I played for my country, with other players, under 'different' rules and that really made me an even better player. EuroBasket is coming, I have to make a decision about that, I have to talk to the coaches and the main players in the national team. We'll see, but there will probably be a lot of beer in the next few days," Jokić said after the match with Oklahoma.
Serbia will be in Group A at the European Championship, playing in Riga, and its rivals are host Latvia, Turkey, the Czech Republic, Portugal and Estonia.
