Dubai basketball players have advanced to the semifinals of the regional AdmiralBet ABA League, after defeating Cedevita Olimpija 85:76 (23:15, 20:18, 22:22, 20:21) on home court tonight in the decisive, third game of the quarterfinal playoff series.
Dubai won the series 2-1 on aggregate.
Dubai's most efficient player in tonight's game was Nate Mason with 18 points. Awudu Abbas added 17 points and seven rebounds, while Klemen Prepelic and Davis Bertans scored 12 points each.
Cedevita Olimpija's most efficient players with 14 points each were Danilo Tasić and Brinton Lemar, who also recorded seven rebounds. Aleksej Nikolić scored 13 points, DJ Stewart added 12 points and six rebounds, while Devin Robinson recorded seven points and 10 rebounds.
Dubai will play Partizan in the semifinals, which defeated Spartak Subotica 2-0 on aggregate. The Belgrade "black and white" will have home field advantage in that series.
In the second semi-final series, Red Star Belgrade and Buducnost Voli will meet.
