The Oklahoma City Thunder took a 2-0 lead against Minnesota in the NBA Western Conference playoff finals after a 118-103 victory at home last night.
Oklahoma's Shay Gilges-Alexander led the way with 38 points, eight assists and three steals. Jaylen Williams added 26 points, 10 rebounds and five assists, while Chet Holmgren scored 22 points.
Minnesota's most efficient player was Anthony Edwards with 32 points, nine rebounds and six assists. Jaden McDaniels added 22 points, while Nickel Alexander-Walker scored 17 points.
NBA Commissioner Adam Silver presented Gilges-Alexander with the NBA Most Valuable Player (MVP) award for the 2024/25 season before the start of the game.
The winner of the series is the team that first records four wins, and the next game is scheduled for the night between Saturday and Sunday in Minneapolis.
The winner of this series will play in the NBA Playoff Finals against the winner of the duel between Indiana and New York, in which the Pacers lead 1:0.
