Šaras: We picked up all the "nobody's" balls

Šarunas Jasikevičius defeated Ergin Ataman for the first time in his career.

And he could hardly have chosen a better moment for his debut - in the Euroleague Final Four, to qualify for the finals in Abu Dhabi.

His Fenerbahçe was better than Panathinaikos (82:76) and on Sunday has a chance to become European champions for the second time in history.

"We didn't play great, but the level of fighting spirit was at a top level. We won 'nobody's' balls, the guys had the courage to hit difficult shots when it mattered most. In games like this, no one dies in beauty, the team that fights harder simply wins. That was us, I hope it will be like that in the final," said Jasikevičius.

Ergin Ataman surrendered the crown.

"Fenerbahçe was better - they played stronger and more solidly in defense, and were calmer in attack," Ataman pointed out.
