The Montenegrin women's senior basketball team was defeated last night in Bologna by Italy 79:41 (19:11, 16:8, 26:12 and 18:10), in a general check before Eurobasket.
Italy had the advantage from the start, and decided the winner midway through the third quarter when they gained a 20-point advantage (47:27).
At the end of the third period it was 61:31.
For the Montenegrin team, Marija Leković scored nine points, Bojana Kovačević added one less point, while Jelena Vučetić finished the match with seven points.
The Montenegrin national team will train in Bar until Tuesday, when it travels to Brno, where it will play in the group stage of the European Championship.
EuroBasket will be played from June 18th to 29th in the Czech Republic, Germany, Italy and Greece), and the Montenegrin national team will play the group stage in Brno, where, in addition to the host Czech Republic, its rivals will be European champion Belgium and the Portuguese national team.
