The basketball players of Budućnost Voli have advanced to the play-off finals of the Montenegrin championship.
Last night at the Bemax Arena, in the second match of the semi-finals, Buducnost defeated Podgorica 102:72 and advanced to the finals with a 2:0 series lead.
She won the first duel 97:85.
The defending champion justified his role as the favorite, gaining a double-digit lead in the first quarter, which he increased with routine play until the end.
Coach Andrija Žakelj gave four juniors, Vuk Krivokapić, Luka Živaljević, Dušan Tičić and Miloš Knežević, a chance to play their first minutes.
All four scored, and the most efficient of them was Luka Živaljević with eight points.
Kenan Kamenjaš led Buducnost to victory with 21 points, Fletcher Maggie scored 15, and Đorđe Jovanović scored one point less.
Petar Pinter was the best player in the Podgorica team with 17 points, while Nikola Žižić added 15 points.
Buducnost will play in the final against SC Derbija, which was better than Sutjeska in two matches.
