After many years, the AdmiralBet ABA League will not be played in Bar - it seems so after the regional competition session.
As reported by regional media, Mornar did not agree to the conditions voted on by the clubs at the Assembly, and since it did not get what it hoped for, the competition regulations will be respected and the club from "Topolica" will not participate in the ABA League next season.
Cibona also rejected the same conditions, so the teams that were eliminated from the league on the field will not be part of the ABA League.
At the same time, the big question is whether Mornar will play in the Second ABA League next season.
Instead of Baran and the giants from Zagreb, the new members of the "Adriatic League" will be Bosnia and Illyria.
But with them the names of the participants are not complete, as new members of the ABA League could become Hapoel Tel Aviv, Vienna and Cluj.
"The door is open and we are just waiting for the aforementioned clubs to confirm their participation in the ABA League. They have a certain deadline by which they must submit their answers. If they do, the regional championship will take on a completely different shape," writes Meridiansports.
Montenegro will thus have two representatives in the new season of the regional competition, both from Podgorica - Budućnost Voli and SC Derbi.
