The first reinforcement for Buducnost Voli for the new season is expected to be a point guard - Ukrainian basketball player Oleksandr Kovliar is the new player for the Montenegrin team.
This is a young player who recently turned 23, and last season he was one of the mainstays of the Lithuanian team Litkabelis.
"He began his career at Himik from Pivdena, the team whose colors our long-time captain – Suad Šehović – once defended," added Buducnost.
After the Ukrainian league, he played in Estonia for Tartu Ulikool, and then Kalev, with whom he reached the semifinals of the FIBA EuroCup, before moving to Spain, specifically Obradoiro.
After one season in Spain, he returned to the Baltics – this time to Litkabelis.
