After the unsuccessful Electoral Session held two weeks ago, it is time for a new one that will most likely have a different epilogue.
The Basketball Association of Montenegro, more precisely the president of the Assembly of this body, Radoslav Jovanović, has scheduled a new election session for July 22nd - previously, Dragan Kadić was not elected president, now it is expected that Dragan Bokan will be elected.
The first man of Budućnost Voli has not yet submitted his candidacy, he has the right to do so until July 17th, but it is increasingly certain after the previous session was not held due to lack of quorum, that he will now be one of the candidates. Of course, and that he has enough votes to be the new first man of Montenegrin basketball.
As announced by the KSCG, the Statute stipulates that a candidate for president can be proposed by at least 10 clubs and the KSCG Board of Directors.
Kadić was the only candidate at the previous Election Session, but out of the total number of delegates (90), only 38 delegates were present - the minimum required for the work of the KSCG Assembly is 46 delegates.
As "Vijesti" previously wrote, the clubs led by Boka - along with Budućnost and SC Derbi - did not attend that meeting.
KSCG has been without a president since April when Jelena Dubljević resigned.
