American basketball player Kamar Baldwin is a new player for Bayern Munich, the club confirmed today.
The experienced 27-year-old signed a two-year contract, with the option to extend the cooperation for another season.
Baldwin (185 cm) comes from the Spanish team Baskonia, where he averaged 7,1 points and 2,8 assists in 25 games in the Euroleague last season, while in the Spanish championship he had a performance of 9,3 points and 3,1 assists.
The American is thus returning to Germany, where he already played for Göttingen during the 2021/22 season.
He began his career at Butler College, where he was selected to the All-Big East Conference in 2020. His professional career took him through the G League, Turkey, Germany, Italy, and Spain, and he wore the jerseys of teams such as: Turk Telekom, Göttingen, Trento, and Baskonia.
Baldwin plays for the Georgian national team.
