The Serbian national basketball team defeated the Slovenian team - 106:72, at the Belgrade Arena as part of a dress rehearsal ahead of the European Championship.
It's a friendly match, but Svetislav-Kari Pešić's team confirmed why bookmakers give it by far the best chance of winning the European Championship - the first gold medal in a competition since Serbia competed as an independent state.
Several players in the winning team excelled, although the entire team left an exceptional impression.
Serbia was led by NBA aces - Miami Heat wing Nikola Jović (18 points, 8-10 from the field, 7 rebounds), Los Angeles Clippers guard Bogdan Bogdanović (14 points, 4-5 from three) and Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokić (10 points - no misses, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals).
Luka Dončić led the visiting team with 17 points, Radović scored 13, and Hrovat 9.
Everyone played, including Hapoel Tel Aviv playmaker Vasilije Micić, who played his first match for the "Eagles" this summer - he missed the previous ones due to injury.
The enjoyable basketball evening also had accompanying elements in the stands.

At the beginning of the second half, insulting shouts were heard from the stands at the expense of the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, while fans booed the President of the Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, who was sitting in the stands.

Serbia will play in Group A at the EuroBasket in Riga, and its rivals will be the Czech Republic, Estonia, Portugal, Latvia and Turkey.
The first match is scheduled for August 27th, and the "Eagles"' opponent will be Estonia.
Slovenia will compete in Group D with Poland, France, Belgium, Iceland and Israel. The four best-placed teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage, with the European champion to be announced on September 14th.
