The coach of the national basketball team, Boško Radović, did not hide his disappointment after the defeat against Lithuania.
The "Reds" lost 94:67, their second failure at Eurobasket after Germany won 106:76.
"From the third attack onwards, only Lithuania was on the field. Unlike the first game, when we played well in at least one half, now it was bad for the entire 40 minutes. This is not a coincidence - the two games were very bad. We have played against Lithuania before and against stronger teams, but we have not lost like this," said Radović.
Montenegro lost to two favorites, and there are matches ahead in which they have to show more - the first one is on Saturday against Finland (19.30:XNUMX PM).
"If something doesn't happen literally overnight, I don't know what to expect against Finland because I don't see any improvement. We played two terrible games, I hope we can't do worse than this in the rest of the game. We will try to get a better result, it's hard to talk like that after these matches, but as long as there are chances for the second round - we will fight," concluded Radović.
