Montenegrin basketball national team player Petar Popović is a new member of Igokea, the club from Laktaši announced.
Popović played for FMP last season, and in the AdmiralBet ABA League he averaged 10,4 points, 2,5 rebounds and two assists.
With the team Budućnost Volija, Popović won the ABA League in 2018, was the champion of Montenegro six times, while winning seven trophies in the Cup.
He also played for Lovćen, Nea Kifissia and Mega.
This season, Igokea is playing in the FIBA Champions League, in addition to the ABA League. It is in a group with Würzburg, Galatasaray and Trieste, and after two rounds it has two losses.
