The Montenegrin champion defeated Litkabelis (98:91) away in the fifth round of the Eurocup and joined the teams from the top of Group B.

Buducnost had a five-point lead at the beginning of the match on two occasions (11:6 and 13:8), but entered the game softly, there was no aggressiveness in defense, which Litkabelis, with good shooting and easy points, took advantage of. The Lithuanian team shot well for three points at those moments, turned the game around at the end of the first quarter, and at the beginning of the second reached a four-point lead - 34:30.
Then the spotlight was on Džuvan Morgan, who announced a great evening - the Budućnost winger forced two fouls from Maldunas, started a 9:0 run, and after two and a half minutes in the second quarter, the "blues" were again up by five - 39:34.
At those moments, the game was played in mini-series - Litkabelis tied the score (39:39), and Buducnost again went five points ahead (44:39), and after Ferrell's three-pointer, they gained an eight-point advantage for the first time - 51:43.
Ferel closed the first half with a three-pointer, Buducnost went into the break with a nine-point lead (59:50), but Rubit came out on top at the beginning of the second half, so Litkabelis came down to minus three - 63:60.
At the end of the third quarter, Ferrell scored four points in a row to take the "blues" to plus seven (72:65), then Litkabelis reduced it to 72:70, and tonight, the excellent Morgan took the Montenegrin champion to plus five with the sound of the siren before the decisive 10 minutes (77:72).
Žakelj played almost the entire third quarter without a classic center, because Butsiel and Thompson had problems with fouls, but that didn't bother the Montenegrin champion.
When Megi hit a three-pointer in the last quarter, Buducnost was again up eight (84:76), then Rubit brought the home team closer to 86:81, and then Morgan blocked a Litkabelis rush with a three-pointer (89:81) and announced the victory.
