The Buducnost Bemaksa women's basketball team will host Zagreb tomorrow in Podgorica (3:30 p.m.) in a match of the fifth round of the WABA League.
According to the schedule, the Podgorica women's basketball team was supposed to play a guest match against the Croatian representative on November 5th, but the two clubs agreed to switch hosts, so they will face a new test just five days after the derby with Partizan.
"We have a match against Zagreb next, which has a much stronger roster compared to last season, and in the first three matches they showed that they have quality. Therefore, we are aware that we have to have a very serious approach," said Budućnost coach Petar Stojanović.
Buducnost has played three matches in the previous four rounds - they were bye in the first round, after which they recorded victories against Rilski and Partizan and a defeat in Montana.
On the other hand, Zagreb has a win and two losses so far.
"In the previous three matches, we as a team showed a lot of oscillations in the game, and we tried to work on that with every training session. I hope we will play with as few oscillations as possible, to be solid for almost 40 minutes and that we will certainly have an interesting match," added Stojanović.
Zagreb has been strengthened this season by three Americans, and in addition to several Croatian internationals, the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team player, former member of Buducnost Dragana Domuzin, has also arrived.
"It's clear that we have another demanding match ahead of us, but we should definitely only think about winning. We're in a tough rhythm of matches, but I expect against Zagreb that we'll fix some of the bad things from the game against Partizan and complete the mini-cycle with a triumph before the international break," said playmaker Marija Baošić.
The duel in the Bemax Arena will start at 15:30.
