A European night when everything was perfect at "Morača" - from the game against the undefeated Turkish championship team to the atmosphere in the stands.
Andrej Žakelj's team thus sent the right message that this should be the season for the final breakthrough in Europe, while the image from "Morača" was also right against the Turkish team after the recent events in Podgorica.
A phenomenal match that Besiktas opened better, and Buducnost was the better rival in the rest of the match, was resolved in a dramatic finish when Rashid Sulajmon emerged as the hero.
At moments when the ball was having a hard time getting through the hoop, the "blue and white" guard masterfully scored for two points, after which he also made a free throw for the final score of 82:79.
Along with him, it's certainly Juvan Morgan, who was again excellent in both directions, but also Yogi Ferrell, as well as all the other guys in blue jerseys.
The Montenegrin champion did not enter the match well, and thanks to three-pointers and the then infallible Anthony Brown, the Turkish team quickly went to 16:8. There was no real defense at the time, Besiktas had a plus nine on two occasions (34:25 and 38:29), but Žakelj soon managed to "tighten" everything.
Three-pointers by Juvan Morgan and Yogi Ferrell dropped the difference to just minus three (38:35), and then the "blue and white" point guard, in an attempt to assist Jerry Butziel, accidentally hit a shot from outside the 6,75 line - it was a 9:0 run for 38:38.
After Ferrell's points, the first lead arrived (43:41) with a minute left before the break, and soon after that it was plus nine (56:47).
Dušan Alimpijević's team did not give up, they managed to come back with a minute and a half left after Vittorio Braun's 2+1 and take the lead (79:77), but that was all from the Turkish team.
Axel Butey scored first, and then Sulaiman did what McKinley Wright and Fletcher Magee failed to do last year in the final.
Buducnost celebrates a great triumph, Buducnost has shown that it has the quality to top Group B and a much easier path in the knockout phase compared to previous years.

Buducnost's attack slowed down, Vittorio Braun scored after a foul by Sulajmon to give Besiktas the lead (79:77). There is a minute and a half left in the drama in Moraca.
Vittorio Braun's three-pointer tied the game (74:74), but Sulajmon's great response from outside the 6,75 line made it (77:74).
There are five and a half minutes left in the big battle in Morača, the game is practically basket for basket, and Budućnost still holds the lead (74:71).

Besiktas is also back, Buducnost is up three points (58:55).
What a surge by Buducnost, what a game against a strong rival - Ferel scored after excellent defense for the biggest advantage, the Montenegrin team has a plus nine (56:47).

Great reaction from Andrej Žakelj's team during the second quarter, and the atmosphere in the "Morača" stands is also great.
After a great defense by Tanasković (which was also emotionally celebrated by Žakelj), the captain of Bdućnost hit two penalties for 45:41.
Buducnost's first lead - Ferrell hit two free throws for 43:41. Less than a minute left until halftime.
Buducnost's 9:0 run to tie the game - and that was after Ferel accidentally hit a three-pointer in an attempt to assist (38:38).
Another great reaction from the Podgorica team - three-pointers by Juvan Morgan and Yogi Ferrell reduced the deficit from minus nine to just minus three (38:35).
Buducnost could have achieved an even better result, but Sulaimon was unlucky in several attacks from the line.
Besiktas' streak continues, albeit with a little help from the referee, so the "black and whites" are now up nine (34:25), and Žakelj again wants to end everything with a timeout.
