The defending champions were led by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who scored 28 points, 11 assists, five rebounds and three steals in three quarters, and Chet Holmgren, who had 23 points and 11 rebounds. He shot without a miss, hitting all nine of his field goals and all three of his free throws.
Isaiah Joe contributed 18 points to the victory, and Ajayi Mitchell contributed 17 points.
The most efficient players for Golden State were Jonathan Cummings with 13 points, Jimmy Butler with 12 and Stephen Curry with 11 points.

Toronto defeated Brooklyn 119:109 and achieved its fifth victory in the last six games. The winning team's most efficient players were Brandon Ingram with 25 points, five rebounds and four assists and Immanuel Quickley with 24 points, eight rebounds and five assists.
Scotty Barnes added 15 points and 11 rebounds, and Jakonb Poetl had 12 points and 10 rebounds.
For Brooklyn, which suffered its 10th loss in its first 11 league games, Nick Claxton had 21 points, eight rebounds and four assists, Michael Porter had 21 points and six rebounds and Noah Clowney had 18 points and eight rebounds. The Nets are winless in all six home games this season.
Utah Jazz beat Indiana 152-128 to snap a three-game losing streak. Lauri Markkanen led Utah with 35 points, Ace Bailey and Sviatoslav Mihajluk added 20 points each, and Isaiah Collier had 14 points and 11 assists.
Last season's Eastern Conference champions, Indiana, tied the worst start in franchise history with one win and 11 losses from the 1988/1989 season. The team's top scorers were Pascal Siakam with 27 points, five rebounds and four assists and Andrew Nembhard with 25 points and seven assists.
