New York City's basketball team advanced to the NBA Cup semifinals after defeating Toronto 117:101 on the road on Tuesday night.
New York was led to victory by Jaylen Brunson with 35 points, followed by Josh Hart with 21, Mikal Bridges with 15 and Karl-Anthony Towns with 14 points, along with 16 rebounds.
Toronto's best player was Brandon Ingram with 31 points, six rebounds and six assists.
New York will play Orlando in the semifinals, which will be played in Las Vegas, after beating Miami 117:108 at home last night.
The player of the match was Orlando basketball player Desmond Bayn, who recorded 37 points, six rebounds and five assists in 38 minutes.
The most efficient players for Miami were Norman Powell with 21, Tyler Hiro with 20 and Andrew Wiggins and Bam Adebayo with 19 points each.
In the remaining quarterfinal matches tonight, Oklahoma City vs. Phoenix and Los Angeles Lakers vs. San Antonio meet.
