SC Derby's defeat in Čačak was unreal - even the "students" coach Petar Mijović is aware of that.
The Podgorica team lost to Borac after overtime (89:82) even though they led 76:73 with seven and a half seconds left in the regular period and had an attack.
He blew it, the ball wasn't even cleared in time, and Aleksa Uskoković's three-pointer followed with five minutes left.
In them, everything was in the hands of the home team, who had 48 rebounds (17 more than their rivals), of which 25 were on offense.
"It's hard to say anything meaningful after a defeat like this. We had everything in our hands, we just needed to get the ball out of the box, but we didn't position ourselves well to receive the ball," said Mijović.
Derby lost for the seventh time this season.
"What happened afterwards was what happened throughout the entire game. The opponent grabbed a lot of offensive rebounds, I don't think that's happened in a long time. From different positions, we allowed the opponent to score about forty points from second chances," Mijović pointed out.
