First League for Basketball Players: Leading trio achieves victories in the 10th round

Sutjeska, Primorje and Jedinstvo, teams that are at the top of the table with identical results, also achieved victories in the matches of the 10th round of the First A EKO Montenegrin League, and now share first place with eight wins and two losses, in the table without taking into account results against SC Derbi, which is competing outside the competition in the league section.

Sutjeska was confident in their away game against Dečić (113:91), and turned the match in their favor in the first quarter, which they won by 20 points - 34:14. The home team failed to seriously threaten until the end, and recorded their sixth defeat of the season. Goran Gajović was the most efficient with 23 points, Kris Martin scored 17 for Nikšić, and in the Dečić team Aleksandar Bulatović scored 19, and Aleksandar Bogojević and Đorđe Marinović scored 18 points each.

Another convincing victory was achieved by Primorje basketball players, against Podgorica 91:68. Already at halftime, the team from Novalja was leading 43:30, only to turn the game around in the third quarter, winning 27:17. Nikola Rakočević led the home team with 17 points, while for Podgorica, Siniša Šorak scored 16 and Danilo Ivanović 13 points with six assists.

Jedinstvo defeated Kotor 80:73, in a match in which the two latest additions to Bijelo Polje came to the fore - Brett Thompson scored 24 points and six assists, and Tyler Bolden 16 points and eight rebounds. The American tandem at the point guard and center positions arrived in Jedinstvo after the departure of one of the team's leaders this season, also American point guard Anthony Collins. In the Kotor team, Novak Obradović scored 22 points, and Aaron Johnson-Cash had another double-double performance, 14 points and 10 rebounds.

In the most interesting match of the 10th round, Ibar celebrated an away win against Teodo 84:83, with a basket by Nenad Vuković in the very end of the game. The guests opened the match in Tivat better, winning the first quarter 26:16, but Teodo responded in the second with 28:17 and had a one-point lead at halftime. The match was uncertain until the very end, and Ibar players were more concentrated, led by a very cheerful Nenad Vuković, who finished the match with 29 points, while Elvis Čekić scored 18. Five players in the Teodo team had double-digit performance, and Miloš Krivokapić and Miloš Kostić scored 13 points each.

Vukovi Zeta came away with a triumph over Danilovgrad, 83:75. The game was played in series, the teams took turns in the lead - at halftime the host had a five-point advantage, but Vukovi Zeta turned it around in the third quarter and held off Danilovgrad's attacks until the end. In the winning team, Marko Raičević had 20 points and nine assists, Andru Kokshauzen 19 points and nine rebounds. In Danilovgrad, Pavle Mugoša was the most efficient with 25 points.

SC Derby previously defeated Ulcinj 87:81, playing in a combined lineup with several first-team players and other juniors, and Ivan Bogdanović finished the match with 20 points. In the Ulcinj team, Filip Bošković had 27 points, and Dejd Alexander had 24 points.

In the 10th round, the match between Mornar and Lovćen has been postponed, with the new date set for January 3rd at 18 pm.
