The Eurocup returns in two weeks and will put an end to the 2025 basketball season in Podgorica. The previous two matches against London Lions and Trento marked the beginning of the second round of this competition, so although it was perhaps not expected that the Italian club would inflict two defeats on the Montenegrin champion, the "blue and white" are still in an excellent position to finally welcome the knockout round from a good position.
The club from Podgorica is currently 7-4, if they had been more calm and had uniform refereeing criteria in the previous match in Trento, their performance could have been better, but the home court advantage in the first round of the playoffs still looks realistic, and even a direct qualification to the quarterfinals is not impossible.
Buducnost has shown so far that it can handle all its rivals, and there is also a good schedule until the end, as the team will Andrej Žakelj They will only have one very difficult away game. It will be against Besiktas, who lost at “Morača” in early November.
It is known that matches in Turkey have been a big problem for Buducnost for years, but the most important thing is that Nikola Tanasković and comrades hold fate in their hands.

Buducnost once again showed how important it is to be in the best possible group position last season, when they, as sixth-placed team in their group, went to third-placed Turk from the second. In the round of 16 and quarter-finals, only one match is played, and that is on the field of the better-placed team, so it is clear how difficult it is to advance. The “blue and white” then said goodbye in Ankara, and Turk Telekom could not perform a miracle on the road against Hapoel Tel Aviv after that.
