Barcelona basketball player Kevin Panter is the EuroLeague's Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the month, the competition announced.
The Panther averaged 24,4 points per game in December and had an average utility index (PIR) of 23.
During December, Panter was consistent, opening the month with 14 points and six assists in a win against Red Star Belgrade, then scoring 24 points in 25 minutes against Olympiacos, adding 21 points and four assists in Paris, and closing the month with 20 points and two steals in a loss to Fenerbahçe.
The MVP of the Month award has been awarded for the 20th season, and the winner is selected by the Euroleague based on individual and team results in the observed period (this time, matches from rounds 14 to 18).
This is the second time that Panter has been selected as the player of the month, after the award was won in October 2024, joining Juan Carlos Navarro, Ante Tomic and Nikola Mirotic as the only Barcelona players with multiple such awards.
