The Sacramento basketball team defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 124:112 in the NBA last night at home.
Sacramento was led to victory by Malik Monk, who hit seven three-pointers and scored 26 points, and Demar DeRozan, who scored 32 points.
Sacramento recorded its second consecutive victory after a seven-game losing streak. This was Sacramento's first home win over the Lakers since March 13, 2024.
The Lakers' best player was Luka Dončić with 42 points, seven rebounds and eight assists, achieving his seventh game with 40 or more points this season. LeBron James scored 22 points, but missed all five of his three-point attempts. DeAndre Ayton scored 13 points, reaching 7.000 points in his NBA career.
Sacramento is 14th in the Western Conference with 10 wins and 30 losses, and the Lakers are fifth in the same conference with 23 wins and 14 losses.
The Los Angeles Clippers defeated Charlotte 117:109 at home.
The Clippers' most efficient players were Kawhi Leonard with 35 and James Harden with 32 points.
James Harden moved into ninth place on the NBA's all-time scoring list, passing Shaquille O'Neal. The Clippers guard hit a 3-pointer early in the third quarter to reach 28.598 career points in his 1.187th regular-season game. O'Neal has amassed 28.596 points in 1.207 games over 19 seasons.
Charlotte's best player was Lemelo Bell with 25 points and nine rebounds.
The Clippers are 11th in the Western Conference with 16 wins and 23 losses, and Charlotte is 12th in the Eastern Conference with 14 wins and 26 losses.
