Panathinaikos basketball players were defeated away from home by Bayern Munich (85:78) on Thursday, in the 22nd round of the Euroleague, and after the match, the coach of the Athenians, Ergin Ataman, made a radical move.
According to Greek media, immediately after the plane landed in Athens, Ataman took the players to the "OAKA Arena" for video analysis, where they analyzed the match with Bayern.
After that, Ataman held a training session to try to get the team going, which has not been playing at a high level lately.
Ataman also canceled his day off last weekend, after the match against Peristeri in the domestic championship.
Panathinaikos plays away against PAOK in the next round of the Greek championship tomorrow, and then has a double Euroleague round in which they will welcome Baskonia and then visit Maccabi Tel Aviv.
The 2024 European champion is in eighth place in the Euroleague with 13 wins and nine losses.
