The Red Star basketball players suffered a defeat they could not afford at such an important moment of the season.
They were defeated by Maccabi in the Belgrade Arena 83:82, so the "red and white" took a serious step back in the fight for a place in the Euroleague playoffs.
Saša Obradović's team was down nine points at halftime, took control in the third quarter and turned it around, but even then it was clear that the Israelis were tough and that an exciting finale was coming.
