The championship leader thus recorded his 10th triumph and definitely confirmed his leading position and direct qualification to the final tournament.
The question of the winner of the uncertain duel was resolved in the very finish, in which the home team did better.
Celje led 59:58 in the 35th minute, but scored only six points by the end.
The home team was led to victory by Dilejn Brn with 22 points, Ksenija Šćepanović scored 14, and Milena Bigović scored one point less.
The best player in the Slovenian team was Isabel Gradvel with 18 points.
