Toronto basketball player Brandon Ingram will replace the injured Stephen Curry at this year's NBA All-Star Tournament.
Curry will miss the All-Star Tournament due to a right knee injury, so Ingram was selected as an NBA All-Star for the second time in his career.
Ingram is averaging 22 points, 5,8 rebounds and 3,7 assists this season for the Raptors, led from the bench by Serbian coach Darko Rajaković.
The All-Star Tournament will see players divided into three teams - two made up of American players and one made up of players from other countries around the world. Each team will consist of a minimum of eight players.
Ingram will play in the All-Star Tournament as part of the USA Stripes team, which will also include Jaylen Brown, Jaylen Branson, Kevin Durant, LeBron James, Kawhi Leonard, Donovan Mitchell and Norman Powell.
His club teammate Scotty Barnes was also selected as an All-Star and will play for the second team of American players, the USA Stars, at the tournament, alongside Devin Booker, Cade Cunningham, Jalen Duran, Anthony Edwards, Chet Holmgren, Jalen Johnson and Tyrese Maxey.
The World Team, made up of players from other countries, will be led from the bench by Rajaković, and will feature Nikola Jokić, Luka Dončić, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Danny Avdija, Alperen Sengun, Victor Vembanjama, Jamal Murray, Pascal Siakam and Karl-Anthony Towns.
The tournament will be played in a round robin format, with the top two teams advancing to the finals. Matches will last 12 minutes.
The All-Star Tournament is scheduled for February 15th in Inglewood, California.
