Victor Wembley led San Antonio to its fifth straight win with 40 points and 12 rebounds. The French center scored 37 of those 40 points in the first half, making it the best half by a San Antonio player in the 21st century.
Along with Wembanjama, Carter Bryant with 16 and Dylan Harper with 15 points also stood out for the Spurs.
On the Lakers team, who played without Luka Dončić, LeBron James and Austin Reeves, the most efficient were Luke Kennard and Drew Timmy with 14 points each.
LeBron James missed his 18th game of the season, which disqualified him from making his 22nd consecutive All-Star Game appearance.
Indiana snapped a four-game losing streak, defeating New York 137-134 in overtime.
Eight Indiana players scored in double figures, led by Pascal Siakam with 30 and Andrew Nembhard with 24 points and ten assists.
Jaylen Branson scored 40 points for the Knicks, who lost for just the second time in their last 11 games. Karl-Anthony Towns added 22 points and 14 rebounds, while Josh Hart had 15 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists.
Houston's basketball team beat the Los Angeles Clippers 102:95 at home. Houston was led to the victory by Kevin Durant with 26 and Alperen Shengun with 22 points, while the Clippers' best player was Kawhi Leonard with 24 points.
Phoenix beat Dallas 120-111 at home, handing the Mavericks their eighth straight loss. Dillon Brooks led the Phoenix lineup with 23 points and Devin Booker with 19 points, while Naji Marshall scored 31 and Cooper Flagg scored 27 points.
