Maccabi basketball players are still undefeated at home in the Euroleague since returning to Tel Aviv, and last night they defeated Bayern Munich (111:106) in overtime at the Menora Mivtakim Arena.
A great game was played in Israel, and after 45 minutes of basketball, one record was broken, while another was tied.
Maccabi and Bayern tied the record for the most three-pointers made in a single Euroleague game last night - 35. Maccabi's basketball players were accurate from outside the 6,75 line 20 times, while Bayern's players were accurate 15 times.
With these 20 three-pointers, Maccabi set a new club record in the Euroleague. Tamir Blatt and William Rejmen excelled - Blatt shot 6/6 from three points, and Rejmen 5/5.
As usual, Andreas Obst led Bayern, shooting 8/13 from three points.
Maccabi will play away to Monaco in the next round, while Bayern will host Real Madrid.
