SC Derby basketball players will welcome Spartak tonight (6:30 PM) in the first round of the AdmiralBet ABA League playoffs, and ahead of that match, the Subotica team announced that they had brought in a player who played for the "students" at the start of the season.
We are talking about the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team player, Amar Gegić, who plays as a fullback and winger.
Gegić played three matches for SC Derbi at the start of the season, and then he was injured and had meniscus surgery.
In three matches in the regional competition in the "students" jersey, Gegić averaged 16,7 points, with 3,3 rebounds and 2,7 assists.
In his career, he played for Sarajevo Spurs, Bayern Munich, Partizan, Sloboda Tuzla, Cibona, Paris, Metropolitan and Gran Canaria.
He participated with Bosnia and Herzegovina at the previous European Championship, where he averaged 8,3 points, 2,7 rebounds and 2,8 assists.
