The total value of the Euroleague basketball, including the competition and all licensed clubs, exceeds 3,2 billion euros, according to a report by Spanish investment firm JB Kapital, Spanish newspaper Marca reported today.
According to the report, the value of the league itself for the 2025/26 season is estimated at 1,41 billion euros, while for the 2026/27 season it is expected to grow to 1,64 billion. The collective value of all licensed clubs is estimated at around 1,8 billion euros.
The analysis highlights the great growth potential of the entire organization.
By moving from the current ten-year licensing system to permanent franchise structures, the combined value of the league and clubs could increase by up to 25 percent.
This would mean that the EuroLeague and its teams could reach a value of around 4,3 billion euros by the 2026/27 season, provided that the business plan and transition to permanent franchises are successfully implemented, the report said.
