SC Derby basketball players have another very important game ahead of them in the fight for survival in the ABA League.
"Students" play Mega on Monday at the "M:tel Morača Hall". With a win, they would further improve their chances of securing a playoff spot, but also remain in the game to avoid the penultimate place in the standings.
Petar Mijović's team has three rounds before the end of the ABA League play-offs, one more triumph than last-place Split and one less than eighth-place Borac.
"We have another very demanding match ahead of us. Mega, like every season, plays basketball with a lot of running, an open court and a very aggressive approach in offensive rebounding," says Mijović.
Mega recently celebrated a 90:76 victory.
"Compared to the first match, we need to reduce the mistakes that allowed the opponent to score easy points on counterattacks. Individual and team responsibility, especially towards their main attacking options, must be at a high level," said Mijović.
