Barcelona basketball players defeated Red Star Belgrade on home court tonight in the Euroleague play-in - 80:72.
Barcelona will play Monaco in the next play-off stage, which lost to Panathinaikos in Athens (87:79), while Red Star Belgrade finished the season in the Euroleague, the second season in a row in the same play-off stage.
Barça was a much better opponent from the start, controlling the game, and the first quarter was marked by Will Clyburn, who scored six three-pointers in that period.
The "blaugrana" were also up 22 (60:38) in the third quarter, and the victory was never in doubt, even though Red Star was approaching a single-digit deficit.
The most efficient players for Barcelona were Clyburn and Kevin Panter with 22 points each, while the best for Red Star was Miller-McIntyre with 19 points.
And Panathinaikos secured a place in the playoffs tonight, after beating Monaco in Athens.
Panathinaikos was led by TJ Shorts with 21 points, and Monaco's Mike James had 25 points.
Panathinaikos will play against Valencia in the quarterfinals.
