Oklahoma City's basketball team took a 2-0 lead against Phoenix in the first round of the Western Conference playoffs of the American Professional Basketball League (NBA), after winning 120-107 at home.
The most efficient player for Oklahoma City, the current NBA champion, was Shai Gilges-Alexander with 37 points and nine assists. Jaylen Williams and Chet Holmgren each added 19 points, who also had eight rebounds and four blocks, while Ajayi Mitchell scored 14 points.
Dillon Brooks led the Phoenix team with 30 points. Devin Booker added 22 points and seven rebounds, Jaylen Green scored 21 points, while Royce O'Neal had 16 points and nine rebounds.
The winner of the series is the team that first records four wins, and the next game is scheduled for Saturday in Phoenix.
Detroit tied the Eastern Conference first-round series against Orlando at 1-1, after winning 98-83 at home.
Cade Cunningham led Detroit with 27 points, 11 assists and six rebounds. Tobias Harris added 16 points and 11 rebounds, Jalen Duran, who also grabbed nine rebounds, and Auzar Thompson, who also grabbed eight rebounds, each scored 11 points, while Duncan Robinson and Isaiah Stewart finished the game with 10 points each.
Jalen Suggs led Orlando with 19 points. Paolo Bankero added 18 points, eight assists and six rebounds, while Desmond Bayne and Franz Wagner each scored 12 points, along with seven rebounds and four steals.
The next game is scheduled for Saturday in Orlando.
