The Oklahoma City Thunder took a 1-0 lead against the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA Western Conference semifinal series after winning 108-90 at home last night.
Oklahoma City's Chet Holmgren led the way with 24 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks. Azdaj Mitchell and Shai Gilges-Alexander each added 18 points and six assists, while Jared McCain scored 12 points.
LeBron James led the Lakers with 27 points and six assists. Rui Hachimura added 18 points, Marcus Smart had 12 points, seven assists and four steals, while Deandre Ayton had 10 points and 12 rebounds, five of which were offensive.
Detroit took a 1-0 lead against Cleveland in the Eastern Conference playoff semifinal series, after winning 111-101 at home.
Cade Cunningham led Detroit with 23 points and seven assists. Tobias Harris added 20 points and eight rebounds, Duncan Robinson scored 19 points, and Dennis Jenkins had 12 points and seven rebounds.
Also in double figures for the Pistons with 11 points were Jalen Duran, who also recorded 12 rebounds, seven of which were offensive, and Oscar Thompson, who also had eight rebounds and five assists.
Donovan Mitchell led Cleveland with 23 points. James Harden added 22 points, eight rebounds and seven assists, Max Strus scored 19 points, while Evan Mobley had 14 points, nine rebounds and five assists.
