Real Madrid basketball players secured a place in the Euroleague Final Four, after defeating Hapoel Tel Aviv 87:78 in the fourth match of the quarterfinal series and advancing to the top four in Europe with a 3:1 aggregate score.
The Israelis were the hosts in Botevgrad, Bulgaria.
The Spanish giants practically settled the question of the winner in the first half, after which they had a double-digit lead, and Hapoel failed to seriously threaten a turnaround until the end.

On the other side, Dan Oturu was the most efficient with 29 points and seven rebounds. Vasilije Micić played an excellent match and recorded a double-double performance - 18 points and 11 assists, along with seven rebounds, while Elijah Bryant added 12 points.
The Madrid team will play in the semifinals of the Final F4 against the better team from the Panathinaikos - Valencia series, in which the Greek team currently leads 2:1.
The Euroleague final tournament is scheduled for May 22-24 in Athens. Olympiacos previously secured a place in the top four, and will now await the winner of the match between Zalgiris and Fenerbahçe.
Fenerbahce, the current European champion, leads the series 2:1.
