Trebjesa women's basketball team won the Montenegrin cadet championship title with two victories at the final tournament of the Youth League in Podgorica. The Nikšić team defeated Sea Stars 73:48 in the semifinals and Primorje 88:35 in the finals.
Lidija Bečanović's team dominated the trophy, dictating the pace and controlling the score for the entire 40 minutes in both matches. Trebjesa's success was complemented by individual trophies won by their basketball players - Vladana Guzina was named the tournament's most valuable player, and Vasilisa Miljanić was the top scorer with a total of 56 points in two games.
The silver medals were won by the Primorje team, which had previously beaten Budućnost Bemaks 83:55 in the semifinals. Budućnost won the bronze medal, defeating Sea Stars 68:55 in the third-place match.
The trophy was presented to the champions by Željka Ratković, a member of the Board of Directors of the Serbian Football Association, and the medals were presented by the Youth League supervisor Zdravko Rutešić and the commissioner of women's competitions Mirjana Sekulić, who also presented individual awards.
The first day of the tournament was organized as part of the celebration of Europe Day, and in this way the Basketball Federation of Montenegro was part of the initiative of the European branch of FIBA - "Sport celebrates Europe Day", which was launched in 2025 in cooperation with the European Commission. The prelude to the cadet women's semi-final matches was a mini-basketball exhibition match, in which the boys' KK Play Off and KK Junior met.
