A turnaround that will be remembered in Ljubljana - Cedevita Olimpija's basketball players tied the score at 1:1 in their victory over Red Star Belgrade in the quarterfinals of the Admiralbet ABA League playoffs.
The team led by Montenegrin coach Zvezdan Mitrović celebrated 92:86, despite being down 21 points in the first half.
The "Dragons" were led to a big win and a masterstroke by Umoja Gibson with 26 and Devin Stewart with 20 points.
The most efficient player for Red Star was Jordan Nwora with 22 points.
The Belgrade club had a big 39:18 lead in the first half, but Mitrović's team picked up the pace in the second half, played much better, turned things around and recorded an important triumph.
The decisive third match will be played on Friday in Belgrade. The winner of this duel will play against Partizan in the semi-finals.
The second semi-final pair is Buducnost Voli and Dubai.
