Jerry Butsiel remains "blue and white"

French center Jerry Butsiel will continue to wear the Buducnost Voli jersey next season, the Podgorica basketball club announced.

It is stated that Buducnost is retaining a player who showed quality, professionalism and dedication to the blue and white colors during the previous season.

"To our mutual satisfaction, our shared story continues," the statement said.

Butsijel arrived in Podgorica last summer and quickly became an important part of the team.

"With his energy, strength in the racket and rich European experience, he brought additional stability under the hoops on both sides of the court. During the season, he stood out as one of the key players in the racket, contributing in rebounding, hoop protection and defensive tasks that often do not enter the statistics, but are of great importance to the team," the Podgorica club announced.

Fletcher Maggie and coach Andrej Žakelj extended their contract with the Buducnost team yesterday.
