Mini basketball for boys and girls, a competition for the youngest organized by the Basketball Federation of Montenegro, has reached its 100th anniversary tournament. It will also be the final tournament (F8) for boys of 2015 and will be held in the "Nikoljac" hall in Bijelo Polje this coming weekend.
The top eight teams from the league stage, which was played as a tournament in three groups - Junior, Budućnost Voli, Pro Basket, Olymp, Morača, Jedinstvo, Nikšić Basket and All Star, qualified for the finals. The final schedule of all teams was determined based on the overall results, as well as the quarterfinal pairings, which will be played on Saturday, June 13th:

Between the second and third matches of the day, at 12:00, a roundtable discussion will be organized on the topic "100 tournaments - thousands of dreams, mini basketball as the home of basketball", moderated by Boris Radonjić from KSCG and Boris Raičević from KK Jedinstvo, and panelists will be Goran Vojinović, coach of Jedinstvo, Bojan Bakić, FIBA mentor for young player development and head coach of the U16 national team of Montenegro, Milica Jovanović, former captain of the Montenegrin national team and founder of the Full Circle program within the FIBA Women in Leadership initiative, and Maja Milutinović, commissioner of the mini basketball competition.

The tournament in Bijelo Polje is also the start of the Basketball Festival, which will include two more final tournaments in mini basketball. The final in the 2016 boys' competition will be held on Monday, June 15 in Bar, on the open Arena court, and the places were secured by Junior, All Star, Bu2 star and Adriatik. Kotor, Ibar, All Star and Olymp will compete for the trophy in the 2015 girls' competition, at the tournament on June 18 in Njegošev Park in Podgorica.
Mini basketball is a project of the Basketball Federation of Montenegro, which has been implemented from the beginning with the support of FIBA through the "FIBA Youth Development Fund" program, and under the leadership of the coordinator and commissioner of the competition, Maja Milutinović. This season, the project also entered into a partnership with the Montenegrin Olympic Committee, through the "Olympic Solidarity" program.
