Dubai crowned in Belgrade - ABA League has a new champion

Debut season in the ABA League and an immediate title - Dubai basketball players are the new champions in the regional competition.

The team from the Middle East, which eliminated Buducnost Voli in three matches in the semifinals, reached the ring by winning the fourth game of the final series against Partizan - they celebrated in the Belgrade Arena 83:81 for a final score of 3:1.

The hero was former "black and white" point guard Aleksa Avramović, who maintained the visitors' lead at the end of the third and beginning of the fourth quarter, and then hit both free throws with 15 seconds left in the game with the score tied at 81:81.

And this after he replaced Kabengele, who had previously been injured...

Avramović scored 15 points, one more than Kabengele, McKinley Wright had 12...

For Partizan, who surrendered the crown, Isak Bonga and Sterling Brown each had 16 points.
