Montenegrin basketball player Aleksa Ilić is officially a player for Breogan, the Spanish club announced.
This is Ilić's first international assignment, and he is heading to Spain after a great season with SC Derby, during which he was the leader of the "students" and averaged 15,2 points and eight rebounds in the AdmiralBet ABA League, with an average utility index of 23, which was the second highest index in the regional competition.
"Ilic is a center with great arm range, a good defender, and is extremely mobile. He excels in rebounding and scoring, and is especially effective in positions close to the basket," Breogan's announcement states.
The Spanish club emphasizes that with the arrival of Ilić, along with the extension of cooperation with some other players, they continue to work on forming a team for the next season in which Breogan will celebrate its 60th anniversary.
In his career, besides SC Derbi, Ilić also played for Budućnost Voli and Sutjeska, and is a member of the Montenegrin national team.
Breogran finished the season in the Endesa League in 11th place with 15 wins and 19 losses.
